The Bahamas and other communities impacted by Dorian need critical supplies, and are asking for any donations from people in the Miami area who are able to help. The list includes medical supplies, equipment, water, things that you can’t live without.

The list includes:

1. Tents (large)
2. Cots
3. Hygeine kits and first aide materials
4. Potable, purified water
5. Water containers and bottles
6. Portable generators
7. Plastic tarps
8. Chain saws
9. Other tools for debris removal
10. Portable stoves
11. Outdoor lamps, lights
12. Flashlights
13. Water purification kits and filters
14. Blankets
15. Insect repellant
16. Portable radios
17. Batteries
18. Cleaning supplies, disinfectants
19. Solar panels
20. Diapers

All County donation sites will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The Miami-Dade County Emergency Management Warehouse in Doral and the Miami-Dade County Fairgrounds will also be open Saturday and Sunday to take donations from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Parking validation for those making donations at the Stephen P. Clark Center in Downtown Miami will be provided at the drop-off point on the first floor. All other drop-off locations have free parking available.
