We all know 2020 is a critically important election year. Healthcare access, climate action, human rights, good-paying jobs for working families, and so much more are all on the ballot. Since many of us are social distancing to stay healthy, one of the best ways to have a positive impact is helping to register new voters by mail ("VRBM") and writing get out the vote ("GOTV") letters. These letters have been tested over multiple election cycles, and are proven effective at increasing voter turnout.
Letter writing is an easy action to take and a great way to make an impact virtually or remotely. You can write letters yourself or in a small group, or coordinate a virtual letter-writing party. We've organized multiple successful VRBM campaigns and have written guides and tutorials you can follow yourself, or feel free to contact us if you have questions or need help.
This opportunity starts on April 1, 2020, 8 a.m. and ends Oct. 27, 2020, 6 p.m. CDT and happens once. All events occur at an action's local time based on the latest information provided to us. The time listed here has been automatically converted to your device's timezone.
This is a remote action that can be done anywhere as long as you have the necessary time, skills, instructions and resources.
