In the event that the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis worsens, New York State Department of Health is in need of help from qualified retired health professionals and related professionals to supplement its hospital capacity on a temporary basis to treat seriously ill coronavirus patients including those that may need to be intubated. The NYS Department of Health will recertify qualified individuals for this purpose.
