Create Now has a drum set that was donated by P!nk's drummer Mark Schulman, which needs to be set up since it is disassembled. We prefer someone to do this during the week, the hours are flexible. It won't be used until our holiday party in early December.

ABOUT CREATE NOW

Create Now is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1996. We serve vulnerable children from birth to age 24 with our healing programs in writing, visual arts, music, performing arts, fashion, culinary arts and digital media. Kids who have been abused, neglected, homeless, on probation, incarcerated and dealing with other major challenges learn to communicate in a positive manner as they bond with role models who serve as mentors. Our workshops help them to find jobs and careers.

Each year, Create Now brings thousands of these "forgotten children," those who have fallen through the cracks, to concerts, plays and other cultural events at premiere venues in the region. In addition, we produce community projects in poverty-stricken neighborhoods, like arts festivals and mural programs. Our organization has directly reached 47,000 of the most troubled youth in Southern California during the last 23 years.
