Food Bank of the Rockies is doing everything possible to continue distributing food to people in need, and is exempt from Colorado's stay-at-home and workforce reduction orders as a critical emergency food distribution services. Food Bank of the Rockies needs healthy Denver-metro area individuals and groups to volunteer and help provide food to those facing hunger in our community. Food Bank of the Rockies has increased safety measures to protect volunteers and are limiting volunteer groups to fewer than 50 people per shift. Volunteers will be split into small work groups throughout the warehouse, to increase social distancing. Additionally, CDC recommended protocols are in place to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.

Food Bank of the Rockies would like you to be very cautious. If you suspect you may be ill, display any symptoms, or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 please stay home. Symptoms can include a fever, cough or shortness of breath.

Shifts are are Monday – Friday, 8:45 am – 12:00 pm and 12:15 pm – 3:30 pm. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old (accompanied by an adult) or 16 years old to volunteer on their own. Volunteers must be 18 years or older to volunteer in the kitchen.
