Current Status of Research
The farmers' association (also called the Producer Executive Body) was started in October 2011, since then it has expanded into 9 cooperatives and 1 farmers association. Over the past few years, we have worked with the representatives facilitating meetings, helping to strategize on methods of organization and communication. Next steps are to support and assist the cooperatives as they begin to use the funds they receive through Fair Trade on community development projects.
This is a flexible activity that can be completed whenever you have enough free time.
