Green Muslims has sponsored two highly-sought out community garden plots in Claude Moore Park in Sterling, VA. We are looking for one or two gardeners willing to take a caretaker role for these two plots. There are a number of volunteers or all ages who will be helping with the gardening work itself. Coordinating these volunteers and providing basic gardening guidance is a key part of this volunteer role.
The plot location is beautiful and the work is all fun. All that is missing is a little bit of leadership to organize the efforts and keep things on track. Green Muslims will cover all costs for materials and the volunteers share all the harvest. This is a perfect opportunity for individuals, a family, or group of friends looking for some quality outdoor time.
