What

Indivisible Philadelphia, Huddle Up Philly, and other grassroots volunteers are launching a campaign to write postcards to Philadelphia residents who voted in 2008 but sat out the election in 2016 to help GOTV in 2020. This project targets areas with low Vote By Mail sign-up rates, which are typically underserved communities of color and areas of high COVID-19 rates where voter turnout encouragement can have the greatest impact. Philadelphia is also one of the most important and competitive swing states in the 2020 election, making this campaign even more high-impact.

To participate, you will need to purchase pre-stamped postcards either at a post office or online from the Postal Service at this link. They are 39 cents each – Indivisible Philly recommends you buy at least 50 postcards to start.

Next, Indivisible Philly will provide you with a postcard script, address, and instructions.
