Learn To Be Tutors are dedicated volunteers who believe deeply in educational equity. Our tutors volunteer their time to make the lives of underserved kids and their families easier, their opportunities greater, and their dreams bigger.

Why Join Learn To Be?

Responsibilities:
-Attend an optional on-boarding to learn how to get started!
-Select your own student to work with from a list of available student profiles.
-Commit to tutoring at least 1-2x per week for 4 months or longer.
-Support your student/s with homework help or use the resources provided by LTB to create your own lesson plans for your student.
-Submit 1-2 minute feedback forms after each tutoring session.

Qualifications:
-14 years old +
-Consent to a public record background check
-Responsible & Reliable
-Good Communicator
-Flexible & Open-minded
-Empathetic to students from differing circumstances
-Passionate about working with K- 12 students
