Introduction
At The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), we're passionate about our mission: to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease andmyeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.LLS volunteers help carry out this mission in so many ways: supporting patients, family members, healthcare professionals, and our community, driving policy advocacy, participating in our campaigns, and helping LLS build much needed capacity.
Purpose
The purpose of this role is to distribute LLS marketing materials to enhance community involvement and revenue generation for key fundraising campaigns such as Light The Night, Team In Training, Big Climb Philly and The Dude Hates Cancer. The outcomes of this role serve our mission work by helping staff to conduct impactful, grassroots outreach for our fundraising events and keep records of participating establishments.
Position Tasks
Shift Time:2-4 hours per month or mutually agreed upon time. Monday - Friday, during business hours and the occasional weekend. Flexible schedule.
Benefits: Outreach is an integral step to help increase awareness about LLS and our fundraising events. This position has great opportunities to network and make professional contacts, have access to LLS events, and be part of a nationwide LLS community.
Training: LLS will provide instruction for distribution and documentation of establishments.
