What

On July 12th, Lights for Liberty will shine a light on the horrific abuses of the Trump administration in human detention camps at the southern border, points of entry, and across the country.

At 7:00 PM local time, people will come together in solidarity at detention facilities, city halls, churches, federal buildings, community centers, parks, homes, etc. at over 200 (and growing) locations across the nation and the world. The events will include inspirational speeches from legislators, activists, and organizers. Here in Dallas, we will also be sharing specific calls to action - how to get involved, how to support local non-profits doing the front-line work, and how to show up as an ally.

At 9:00 PM local time, a silent sea of candles will light up the nation and the world in a silent act of protest against the atrocities currently being inflicted upon refugees entering the United States of America. We believe that all human beings have the right to life, liberty and dignity. Please join us.

Dallas vigil will be held at City Hall Plaza.
