Manos de Cristo, an Austin community service organization, is in need of a few volunteers to help our students by volunteering once or twice a week to teach intermediate and advanced skills Computer class. Manos is devoted to empowering our clients through educational programs, food and clothing programs, and our dental clinic so that the working poor in our community are able to provide for their families.

We are looking for bilingual (English/Spanish) individuals who can assist and translate in our computer literacy classes. We are offering basic, intermediate and advanced levels of computer classes for individuals with experience using the computer. Our adult students have varying degrees of English proficiency, and some of our current instructors do not speak Spanish. Opportunities are available Monday and Wednesday (9:30am - 11:30am or 7:00pm - 9:00 pm) or Tuesday and Thursday (9:30am -11:30am or 7:00pm - 9:00 pm). Volunteers are asked to commit to at least 2 hours per week for the entire 8 week session. Consistent and reliable attendance is required. This is a great opportunity for individuals with intermediate or advanced proficiency in Spanish looking to practice and improve their skills. Manos is grateful to all who want to volunteer their time and efforts.

Thank you!
