Volunteers typically assist in serving dinner, performing inventory for our food pantry, bagging pantry items up, and any other miscellaneous task. Please note that we attempt to match each volunteer based on their abilities, but we sometimes require tasks other than serving clients in order to operate our network of kitchens.

Volunteers must be at least 12 years of age, and they must be with an adult over 18. For teenage volunteers without an adult, a parent or guardian must complete a volunteer form for the child. We reserve the right to not have young children volunteer if parents are unable to control children around clients.

Boro Park needs volunteers from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Volunteers are also needed for pantry distribution on Thursdays from 8:00am - 11:00am.

We ideally want volunteers to be available for at least 90 minutes.

This is a flexible activity that can be completed whenever you have enough free time.
