What

The GreenThumb Youth Leadership Council is an inter-generational service learning program in community gardens. You'll learn all about community gardening and learn from experienced community gardeners about gardening, including civic engagement and what it means to be a leader. NYC youth aged 12-21 commit to volunteering in one of 15 participating gardens around the city at least twice a month and accumulate at least 20 service hours between April and August. YLC garden sites are available across the five boroughs. The program is open for applicants now and here is the link: http://bit.ly/YLCParticipantApplication
