In partnership with St. Mark Community Education program, the Somerville Public Library will offer a 12 week citizenship preparation class starting on September 7. There will be a training for all interested volunteers on Saturday, July 20 from 10-12:30 at Central Library (79 Highland Avenue).

We are looking for volunteers to help run the citizenship classes. No prior tutoring experience or extensive knowledge regarding the U.S citizenship test is required. Teachers will already have a curriculum and activities in place and will utilize volunteers to break the class into small groups and run focused activities, assignments, and mock- Citizenship tests (both oral and written).
