Boston-based nonprofit Tech Goes Home is holding their 3rd annual Summer Celebration - it's fun for the whole family!

Our Tech Goes Home community helps participants gain access to the skills, hardware, and access needed for 21st century success. 75% of our participants have household incomes under $20,000, and 45% have a primary language that is not English.

In prior years we have held a more formal graduation for students at Faneuil Hall. While nice, we received overwhelming feedback from graduates that they would prefer a family-friendly activity. Our 2017 and 2018 Summer Celebrations were a huge success and we are looking forward to new, more transit-accessible venue in 2019. Our goal is to stay connected with graduates and encourage them to urge family and friends to sign up for free classes.

Through our partnership with WGBH, we have had a Curious George mascot at the event, walking around and interacting with families. It's a perfect opportunity to let out your inner child! Our previous mascot loved the event but is unavailable this year. You'll have a private changing tent and some breaks to cool off - and most importantly, the chance to be really silly and fun!

The height restrictions (5'1" to 5'7") are based on the size of the costume. You can bring a friend to be your "guide" (it's useful to have a sidekick to manage excited kids!) or we'll assign a volunteer to help you.
