Wonder Works changes lives through creative play
With six permanent experience zones and numerous special programs and classes, Wonder Works provides children with a wide array of play experiences based on proven early childhood education standards.
Measuring 6400 square feet, the museum's size and accessible experience zones are designed for use by children from birth to eight years of age.
It's within easy reach of public transportation and close to several major expressways, providing quick and easy access to families and groups from Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Special care has been taken to make Wonder Works a favorite destination for children with special needs.
Every year, the museum welcomes more than 70,000 visitors, inlcuding about 1000 member families and well over 4,000 children who come to visit the museum on school-sponsored field trips.
