WITS Early Childhood Summer Program at Perez Elementary is a kindergarten readiness program that takes place from 9:00am-11:30am, Monday-Thursday, from July 8-August 8.

The program, led by a CPS teacher and a WITS staff member, prepares incoming kindergarteners for school by teaching letter names and letter sounds, developmental writing skills, and reading behaviors. Each week, the staff uses a different fairy tale as a fun way to practice these skills and engage with stories.

Volunteers are asked to make a minimum commitment of one day per week but are welcome to volunteer as many days as they would like.

This opportunity starts on July 8, 2019, 10 a.m. and ends Aug. 8, 2019, 12:30 p.m. EDT and happens once. All events occur at an action's local time based on the latest information provided to us. The time listed here has been automatically converted to your device's timezone if yours is different.
