What
This September 20-27th, millions of people around the world will walk out of our workplaces and homes to join youth climate strikers on the streets and demand an end to the age of fossil fuels, corporate pollution, and environmental destruction. Gather at the Pittsburgh City County Building at noon for Pittsburgh Climate Strike with Fridays for Future and allies.
Our house is on fire — let’s act like it. We demand climate justice for everyone.
Help us change the world.
Event Details:
- Meet at the Downtown Pittsburgh City County Building at 12pm (noon)
- We’re asking everyone to wear black and red on strike day
- If you can, bring some signs!
Schedule:
11am: Before the strike begins, PA Interfaith Power & Light will hold a Peace Walk and Meditation starting at 11:00 AM from Trinity Cathedral, 328 Sixth Ave. and walking to the City County Building.
12pm: Everyone meets at City County Building, Speakers start
2pm: Striking & chants for solidarity
4pm: Strike ends
