Amsterdam, Netherlands —Brightest, a Certified B Corp and leading global sustainability data, reporting, and performance solutions-provider, is pleased to announce the release of its 2025 annual corporate sustainability report. The report provides an overview of the company’s achievements, material topics, and continued efforts to integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into its operations and business practices.

As part of its commitment to transparency and accountability, Brightest has compiled this voluntary report to offer stakeholders a clear view of the company’s progress in advancing key sustainability objectives. These include GHG emissions measurement and reduction efforts, employee talent and workforce development, and promoting sustainability education and mentorship around the world.

“I’m happy to share the updates and progress we've made since our last sustainability report,” said Chris Bolman, Co-Founder and CEO of Brightest. “As a company dedicated to helping organizations illuminate and improve their sustainability, our work throughout 2025 continues to be an opportunity to follow our own values and look for ways to improve our own products and services. We hope this report helps serve as a catalyst for future improvement, while also enabling ongoing dialogue with our clients, partners, employees, and other communities. Most importantly, and contrary to false public narratives, we want to show that sustainability reporting isn’t a burden for startups and small businesses — it’s an opportunity.”

“Writing our sustainability report was truly rewarding because it allowed us to highlight all the initiatives we pursued in 2025. One project that is especially close to my heart is the work we've done at Brightest to integrate AI tightly into our software and to establish standards for using AI safely," said Nina Benoit, Director of Sustainability at Brightest. "Moving forward, we will explore additional providers that can help us introduce more AI features while remaining mindful of their environmental impacts. This is a top priority for us, and it is equally important to our clients.”

Key highlights from the report include:

- Brightest's 2025 Sustainability Report includes its first operational Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions inventory, with Scope 3 emissions representing 95% of the total.

- Brightest utilizes Amazon Web Services (AWS) data centers and technology, which have been powered by 100% renewable energy since 2023, to deliver its product worldwide with a low environmental footprint, high uptime, and high business resiliency.
