Squarespace is an option you want to create and host your own website. By comparison, Brightest will automatically generate a website profile for you that we host. Your Brightest page will include information about your cause or organization, as well as things like signup forms, event signup pages, landing pages, and other information you want to share about your work. Like Squarespace, we can also generate a custom subdomain or microsite if you want to use your own branded domain.

If you're looking to create and customize your own website, Squarespace (or Wordpress) can be a good option. However, if you're hosting lots of events, looking to build community, or running more complex, event-based campaigns (like a road show, meetup, corporate event series, or political campaign) Brightest is probably a better alternative that can save you time and money. Unlike Squarespace, we're designed with event organizing and campaigns in mind, making it really easy to manage all the different aspects of your organization's event workflow, track and collect signups, and send targeted communications.
